Individual Therapy
I provide individual therapy for adults as well as transgender, nonbinary, and gender-exploring adolescents ages 15+ in the state of Massachusetts. I primarily see people virtually, with limited availability for masked, in-person sessions on Friday afternoons.
My passion lies in partnering with folks navigating experiences like:
Processing difficult reproductive experiences
Depathologizing experiences of extreme and altered states, dissociation, and suicidality
Disenfranchised grief (the kinds of grief that people don't usually bring you casseroles for) like the loss of a pet, reproductive losses, or grief related to estrangement
Befriending the body or maybe just finding a less fraught relationship with the body
Traumatic experiences from childhood that continue to shape the present
Creating patterns of sustainable activism
Being a helping professional who somehow also needs help sometimes?
Healing from trauma related to the mental health system, coerced or forced care, and psychiatric incarceration
Building internal community among multiple parts of self or voices or alters
Disentangling from shame
Being queer and/or trans in an oppressive world and wanting a therapist who gets it
Complicated relationships with spirituality and/or religious trauma
I also provide letters for accessing gender-affirming care. If you are in need of a letter and not a current client, please reach out and we can schedule an assessment session.
Supervision and Consultation
I provide weekly, individual supervision to LCSWs who are accruing hours for licensure in Massachusetts. I love partnering with queer and trans providers serving queer and trans clients, clinicians who are exploring how integrate the wisdom of their own lived experience with the work that they do, and folks interested in growing in relational and IFS-informed approaches to therapy. For folks paying for their own supervision, I offer a sliding scale. Please feel free to get in touch so we can see if we might be a good fit!
I also provide consultation to clinicians around writing letters for gender-affirming care, perinatal mental health (especially when working with LGBTQIA+ clients), anti-carceral approaches to suicidality, and any of the stuff listed above.
